 | Collaborate with the merchant team to develop the list of important brands/category/product keywords to drive traffic and sales for the three online properties. |
 | Mine macys.com's onsite search logs and organic search referrals on a monthly basis to grow keyword portfolio. Identify opportunities for increasing organic search relevancy. |
 | Work with Account Managers at search engine partners to ensure that copy and/or linking changes are made accurately and in a timely manner. Verify on an ongoing basis that search terms are linking to a live page on macys.com. |
 | Provide a weekly analysis of paid search term performance based on traffic, conversion and sales. |
 | Team up with Marketing Analyst to identify trends in behavior of customers referred by search. Adjust campaigns/Optimize search terms, copy, bids and/or landing pages based on this data. |
 | Keep abreast of the latest trends and emerging technologies with regards to search marketing, both organic/natural and paid. |
 | Work with analytical team to identify opportunities for increasing conversion on macys.com. |
 | Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills. The core function of this role is to analyze search partner-driven traffic and sales data to derive conclusions and actionable insights. |
 | Highly motivated self-starter. To be successful in this role, the candidate must be comfortable working independently to achieve a successful result with minimal guidance. |
 | Tech-savvy with ability to learn new concepts and software applications quickly. |
 | Experience in direct marketing (preferably in the interactive space). |
 | Strong attention to detail. |
 | Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable presenting in front of a group. |
 | Proven Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills. Proficiency in File Maker and MS Access a plus. |
 | Ability to confidently handle multiple projects simultaneously and under deadlines. |
 | Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams. |
 | Passion for retail and an ability to keep on top of the latest trends. |
 | 2 or more years work experience in a marketing role. BA/BS from a 4 year program preferred. |
