Across the Macy's Logistics and Operations network, associates are eligible to be recognized through our All Star Program. They may be nominated by either their management or peers for performance above and beyond in a number of areas. These may include leadership, customer service, quality, and expense reduction. All Star Award recipients receive a variety of "perks" including preferential parking or free bus passes, gift certificates, extra vacation days and a specially designed All Star polo shirt. They also receive considerable recognition within their operation and across our division. If you are an All Star winner, you are eligible to be nominated by your facility senior management team for our MVP, Most Valuable Person Award. MVP winners receive a check for $500, an overnight trip to the Macy's Logistics and Operations Corporate Office in Secaucus, NJ and a luncheon with the senior leadership of our division. An MVP also receives a framed MVP certificate, a letter from the president and chairman and recognition in our newsmagazine. Finally, MVP winners receive consideration for the Macy's Logistics and Operations Annual "Hall of Fame" Award that comes with a $5000 check and a weekend travel package to anywhere in the continental US! Recognizing Our SuccessThere's no such thing as an ordinary day in retailing. So it's no surprise that our associates occasionally encounter unusual situations that require them to be moved to action ... to produce results ... and to make a contribution at an extraordinary level. Whether it's working under an impossibly tight deadline, making a particularly tough decision, or handling a delicate customer issue, our people are challenged and empowered to draw on their knowledge and experience to satisfy the customer and make our company succeed. We believe outstanding work should be rewarded. To show our gratitude and appreciation, we've developed recognition programs that celebrate and reward exceptional work and strengthen the bond of loyalty between company and associate. These awards are not only a token of our respect for your work, they are an acknowledgement of extraordinary contributions. The following is a snapshot of our recognition program, including some of the ways we spotlight the accomplishments of our associates. - The Hall of Fame Award recipient is selected from the group of MVPs by the senior leadership of Macy's Logistics and Operations and is recognized for their outstanding contribution. The winner receives a weekend travel package, which includes airline tickets for two, hotel accommodations, car service and a $5000! The winner also receives a framed certificate, a personal letter from Tom Cole, Vice Chairman of Macy's, Inc., and recognition in our newsmagazine and on our website.
- The MVP Award recognizes the notable achievements of executives and associates whose contributions and performance are exceptional and are selected by the facility/operation management team. Awards of $500, along with an overnight trip to the Corporate Office, a luncheon with our senior leadership and recognition in our newsmagazine and on our website.
- The All Star Award recognizes outstanding performance by an executive or associate. All Star winners are nominated by a peer or manager and selected by the All Star committee. They are honored at a quarterly luncheon, receive a $100 gift card and an extra vacation day! All Stars also received a specially designed All Star polo shirt.
- Our Service Recognition Program honors years of service to Macy's Logistics and Operations beginning at 5 years. Associates receive a certificate, a gift card, service pin and a message from the facility Vice President.
