Restaurant Managers are the leaders of Macy’s Food division, and have the opportunity to run their own business including hiring, training, and building the best hospitality teams in the retail industry. Opportunities include restaurant and culinary management, including everything from quick serve and fine dining environments to leading a Macy’s owned Starbucks location. In addition to ensuring an unforgettable dining experience, our restaurant managers are diligent about maintaining a safe, efficient, professional, sanitary and profitable operation.
As part of our culinary arts team, Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, Catering Associates, Culinary Professionals and Dish Associates work together to create trend-forward, craveable food and unique dining experiences for our customers. We can provide training and development to help you focus your passion for food and attain your culinary goals.
From tableside service to quick service, Macy’s has opportunities for individuals who enjoy engaging with customers to sell our food products. Food Sales associates are responsible for creating excitement and interest through product knowledge, food sampling, and outstanding customer service. Opportunities in this area of the Macy’s Foods division include Restaurant Servers, Retail Food Sales Associates and Cashiers.
A Starbucks career at Macy’s affords the opportunity to support not one but two world-renowned brands. With Macy’sowned Starbucks locations opening across the country, associates can grow and thrive along with our business. This journey starts with learning about coffee through tasting and roasting events, and includes one-on-one training to obtain certification to Starbucks standards.
