Job Overview:
As a Credit Operations Manager, you will be directing a staff of supervisors and associates responsible for maintaining and ensuring operational standards of excellence for our Credit Granting Department. Primary responsibilities include making recommendations to increase departmental efficiency, communicating with customers and sales associates, tracking/analyzing report data, and assisting with special projects.
Key Accountabilities:
 | Manage a call center of telephone representatives and effectively answer and resolve customer issues using professional customer service skills. |
 | Supervise, train, and coach credit granting representatives and supervisors. |
 | Interview and hire job applicants. |
 | Provide service to individual credit applicants and store personnel by answering questions. |
 | Develop employee/manager relationship to increase morale and enthusiasm and promote Macy's Credit and Customer Services culture. |
 | Review and analyze statistical reports and make recommendations based upon the data. |
 | Initiate, participate in and complete special projects that enhance the overall performance of the department. |
Skill Requirements:
Requirements for this position include a High School Diploma or general education degree (G.E.D). Excellent problem solving, analytical, decision-making, communication, follow-up and organizational skills are also required.
