Associate Discount
What a great way to save on quality Macy's, Inc. merchandise! You, your spouse and eligible dependents will receive a 20% discount on most regular-price and sale merchandise (10% on some items). And, at some special times of the year, additional discounts are offered.

Associate Referral Program
Many of the associates at Macy's, Inc. and Macy's Credit and Customer Services were hired as a result of being referred by a current employee. The company facilitates various programs to award monetary bonuses for associates who refer a friend or family member who is hired to join the Macy's Credit and Customer Services family.

Recognizing Our Success

  • The High 5 Award goes to an individual or team based on a significant achievement or event. First-time recipients receive the High Five award. Subsequently, attachment pins are given as additional awards.
  • The Service Award recognizes anniversary years of service, and employees can select a gift (jewelry, leather accessories, sports items) from our service award brochure. The growth and success of the Macy's Credit and Customer Services is a direct result of contributions made through the experience and loyalty of our associates. We hope the awards selected will serve as an expression of our sincere appreciation.
  • Value In Performance (VIP) Awards is a monthly program that recognizes excellence in customer service and job performance. Winners are honored at departmental meetings, receive a VIP pin and stainless steel mug, and are invited to an annual banquet.
  • A similar program, called the Manager Value in Performance Award (MVP), is in place for management executives. Winners are honored at departmental meetings, receive a MVP pin and are invited to an annual banquet.
  • The President's Award offers a monetary bonus ($1,250) for associates with the highest performance in the company. Winners are recognized at an annual luncheon.
  • The Extreme Award recognizes executives for going above and beyond their objectives and expectations for the year.
  • Perfect Attendance Awards celebrate attendance excellence through additional discounts and an annual banquet.
  • The YMCA Black Achievers Award salutes and honors area Black Achievers. Since this program's inception in 1979, it has sought to expose, educate and enlighten Area youth to various opportunities found in the corporate sector. Being a YMCA Black Achiever is more than just being recognized as a personal achiever. The award represents a very real commitment that has been made by every Achiever and every sponsoring company. Recipients of this award are honored each spring at a banquet held in downtown Cincinnati.
  • James Amann Cultural Award recognizes individuals who exemplify Macy's Credit and Customer Services unique cultural mission. They are awarded for embodying our cultural spirit and their efforts to recognize the value of our associates. Winners receive a beautiful crystal award. They are recognized in their respective departments and in our monthly newsletter.
  • The Macy's Credit and Customer Services Founders' Club was established to recognize Macy's Credit and Customer Services associates and retirees with at least 10 years of service. Inductees are recognized through a special recognition on their badge, a crystal vase and an annual banquet.
  • To further reinforce Macy's, Inc.'s corporate commitment to community involvement through Partners In Time, the company began a national volunteer recognition program in 2000. Each year, Macy's Credit and Customer Services honors our best Partners In Time volunteers through the Carol Reiser National Volunteer of the Year Award program, named in memory of the founder of Partners In Time and the award program. The award is given to one person annually, chosen from each division's "best volunteer". The winner of this award receives a monetary gift in the winner's name to an eligible non-profit organization and a Waterford crystal award. The winner is announced at the Macy's Credit and Customer Services Recognition Banquet held in the spring.
  • The Quality Impact Award recognizes individuals who have submitted the top suggestion with the most potential of measurable improvement in service and/or a tangible cost reduction. Winners are selected each quarter.
