Job Overview:
A senior accountant has increased experience and depth of knowledge in the accounting field. Some Senior Accountant positions require you to directly supervise one or two associates who may be responsible for a variety of functions.
Key Accountabilities:
 | Analyzing variances in monthly financial reports, forecasts and reconciliations. |
| Completing month end closing activities, journal entries, and forecasting. |
| Preparing tax and audit schedules quarterly. |
Qualifications
| Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required. |
| 3 - 5 years of general accounting experience. |
| Strong communication (both written and verbal) and analytical skills. |
| Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Windows. |
| General Ledger experience. |
| Supervisory experience is a plus. |
| Must be detail oriented, organized, and capable of prioritizing workload to complete multiple tasks and meet deadlines. |
