Overview of Position:
The Junior Project Coordinator position is the entry-level position in the Store Construction department. As a Junior Project Coordinator you will assist the Store Construction team in all activities related to the procurement, fabrication, and installation of materials and equipment for all new and remodel stores. Following are some of the specific responsibilities of the job:
Key Accountabilities:
 | Support the store construction team in all activities related to the procurement of materials and equipment purchased through the National Purchasing Program. |
 | Expedite delivery of materials and equipment to the job sites and visit manufacturing facilities to assure conformance with manufacturing and installation schedules. |
 | Assist in issuing bid packages to national accounts for pricing and delivery schedules. Analyze proposals, prepare spreadsheets, and conduct review meetings. |
 | Communicate regularly with the Project Manager to report on project status and remedies for delays or other problems. |
 | Contribute to the development and implementation of new programs and specifications to deliver the highest quality product at the best price. |
Skills Summary:
 | Four year, undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Architecture or a related field. |
 | Co-op or intern experience in an architectural, construction or general contracting environment. |
 | Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. |
 | Outstanding oral and written communication skills. |
 | Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities. |
 | Ability to travel. |
