Another prime museum district just east of Beverly Hills (on Wilshire Boulevard for any "Pretty Woman" fans) houses the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The city's Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) features one of the country's best collections of art dated after 1940. And with a metropolis of this magnitude and prestige, it goes without saying that the dining and nightlife is first-rate. For the best view of the city skyline at night, you'll go to Yamashiro in Beverly Hills. If you delight in avant-garde, select one of the funky restaurants along Main Street in Venice - where you don't need a ticket to watch the theater of humanity. Wolfgang Puck's internationally renowned flagship restaurant Spago is located in Beverly Hills. Try Yi Cuisine for an interesting blend of French and Asian fare. The fresh seafood and oyster bars beckon diners to The Water Grill in Los Angeles and The Lobster in Santa Monica. The Velvet Margarita Cantina is known for its hot food and cold drinks.
