Humphrey), Kitt Peak National Observatory (with the world's largest collection of powerful optical telescopes) or the Petrified Forest National Park (with the world's largest and most colorful concentration of petrified wood). Further, star-struck LA and the exquisite sandy beaches of Southern California can be reached in just a half-day, offering a relaxing weekend escape for Arizona residents. It's certainly easy to understand why Phoenix has become one of the nation's most promising up-and-coming hotspots.
