The Leadership Institute, which provides formal education and development for the organization's top 1,200 executives, has emerged as retailing's most successful tool for professional growth at the middle- and senior-management levels. It has been named an "American Express Retail Best Practice" by American Express and the National Retail Federation and continues to improve each year with new techniques and programs.
