Few industries outside of retail allow you to pursue virtually any career path you can imagine - store management ... sales management ... buying ... planning ... merchandising ... credit marketing ... finance ... human resources ... training ... systems ... marketing/advertising ... logistics ... risk management ... accounting. Likewise, there are very few retailers like Macy's, Inc. - 450+ Macy's and Bloomingdale's department stores in 34 states, Guam and Puerto Rico.
- Online shopping (Macys.com and Bloomingdales.com) and a national catalog (Bloomingdale's By Mail.)
- One of the best training programs in the industry (some call us the "graduate school of retail").
- And, of course, abundant opportunity. Opportunity to meet new people ... to move to exciting or exotic places ... to be empowered in your job ... and to grow your career horizontally, vertically, diagonally, or in any other direction you choose!
Macy's, Inc. is not only the kind of company that will help you discover and grow your interests and talents. It is our philosophy and practice to develop and promote talent from within the company - a fact that attests to the potential of career movement within Macy's, Inc.
