"I started at Macy's, Inc. in a seasonal store selling position, just to earn some extra money for Christmas. Here I am, 13 years later, still with the company and in a senior-level job in employee relations. It's good when you're able to see a business operate from all angles, and that's what I've done. I've been in sales, store-line, merchandising and operations. All of that, coupled with the experience I've gained in employee relations, means that I'm well-prepared for my current responsibilities. For me, no two days in this company have been the same. It's so dynamic. We're always focused on re-invention and problem-solving. That's why I love retail. I've been able to do a lot of different types of work as I've moved up within the same company. I've come to understand Macy's values and belief system, and it really impacts my ability to do my job well today."
